MY VOICE WILL GO WITH YOU

Welcome!
I write about, do workshops and provide clinical supervision on the art of family therapy. From my perspective, family therapy really is an art--an intuitive balancing act of fostering and facilitating relationships, and then using those relationships for healing and growth.  I also believe that the creative arts are the oldest form of therapy, and that sometimes magic happens when connected to this balancing act.

Over the past 20 years I have gathered an array of experiences working in crisis intervention, family therapy, program development and clinical supervision. I hope to offer those experiences to you in a way that inspires you to work with your staff or your clients happily. Certainly experience often teaches us what we don't know, and I've had many of those lessons too.  I'm not too proud to share them!  Looking forward to talking more with you.        -Denise Parent, LMFT
